"The Language of Touch"

Touch Means Contact. Everyone needs to relax to relax to escape the tyranny of time. Listening to music, watching movements of clouds, combing the beach for shells, these are all ways to still the mind, to regain a sense of our own wholeness in the innocence of the moment.

Now is the time to redress the balance and get back into your body by rediscovering the gentle art of touch. It is the oldest form of communication, one we can use to heal or reassure, to relieve pain, or to sooth away tension, to take you to another place and time! Massage can be a voyage of self-discovery, revealing how it feels to be more relaxed and in tune with ourselves,to experience the pleasure of a body that can breathe, stand, and move more freely.

For thousands of years some form of massage or laying on of hands has been used to heal and sooth the sick. In the early 5th century B.C., Hippocrates- "the father of medicine" wrote - " The physician must be experienced in many things, but assuredly in rubbing... For rubbing can find a joint that is too loose, and loosen a joint that is too rigid."

Touch is a language we all use instinctively to show our feelings, to demonstrate to others that they are loved, wanted, and appreciated. Holding, comforting, stroking, we convey sympathy, understanding and reassurance. Alone and in pain we cradle and hug ourselves, rest tired head in hands, and unconsciously massage our aching limbs. Massage is a vital art form that is very warm, nurturing, and intimate, and can be very peaceful and healing to all.

I offer many different modalities of massage therapy, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Sports Massage, and Reflexology and Shiatsu, (acupressure points). My patients named my company "Healing Hands from Heaven" over 20 years ago.

Let me take you on a mini-vacation to that special place
that heals and rejuvenates you!
